This survey sets out to better understand how academics write – and by this we mean the process and mechanics of writing within a scholarly setting. ‘Writing’ includes planning, writing and editing and the practice of writing – how and when you write and what might be considered as productivity.

The survey has four short sections with 14 questions covering your current writing practice and experience and a final section on demographics. The results will be anonymised will take 7 minutes to complete.

It has been designed by Prolifiko in collaboration with information science researchers and writing and rhetoric scholars.
